A Goat strayed away from the flock, tempted by a patch of clover. He had just strength enough to gather some food and find a quiet clearing in the woods, where he lay down to wait until his strength should return. It bears no fruit whatever, and only serves to litter the ground with leaves. when a starving Grasshopper, his fiddle under his arm, came up and humbly begged for a bite to eat. The second time the Fox saw the Lion he stopped behind a tree to look at him a moment before slinking away. We are drawing all the weight, not you, and we are keeping still about it besides.
