Juxta the Combinator Cat

An orange and white tabby lays on its back. Its eyes are closed softly with a big blep on its face. It's wearing a red collar with a gold medallion that says "Juxta". To either side of Juxta are square brackets representing quotation. The background consists of various concatenative combinators such as dup, nip, unit, cat, pop, dip, swap, drop, etc. A few nonsensical ones include purr, bap, glomp.
Juxta [It/He]

Juxta is a character I drew for as a mascot for the concatenative programming discord group. I've also kinda made him the unofficial mascot for concatenative programming in general. The angle brackets around his head are intended to always be floating around it. They are intended to be a reference to the [ quotation syntax ] syntax that Joy used (and other catlangs adopted).

It additionally has the power to utilize stack combinators to effect the world around it. Swap allows Juxta to switch positions with an object (of roughly the same size), dup temporarily copies an object, drop temporarily "deletes" an object, quote wraps an object in a box (often Juxta itself), compose merges a pair of boxes, and apply destroys a box Juxta has made.

His tail is intended to have stripes along the end of it. Juxta's design is CC-BY-SA (+NO AI) (i.e free to use, but your better fucking do it by hand). A link back to this page is sufficient crediting. For example:

A drawing of a tabby wearing a santa hat and a red collar. It's green eyes are wide with excitement as it bleps towards the viewer. Square brackets float besides its head. Text says "Joy to the world it's finally Concatmas!"

A drawing of Juxta, a tabby combinator cat with square brackets to either side of its head, playing on an oversized control pad connecting to a SNES. It's fixated on an offscreen television set blepping and clicking away at the controller. Text on the screen reads "Catjam".
