Now it was the custom among the Greeks to take their pet monkeys and dogs with them whenever they went on a voyage. Not always! Unable to free himself, he filled the forest with his angry roaring. Do you not see, replied the old Frog, that the Bull who is beaten, will be driven away from the good forage up there to the reeds of this marsh, and we shall all be trampled into the mud? Strangely enough, a Wolf was lurking near and heard what the Goat had said. You can't expect any constancy from me!
