I am submitting an application to present a talk at the upcoming LANG .NET
2006 symposium about the Cat programming language. My focus is on Cat as an
easily optimized intermediate language. Cat is more or less a dialect of
Joy. I believe that stack-based functional languages are ideal for
performing high-level optimization. Much of the presentation applies to Joy
as much as to Cat.
