Judging from the name, it's probably something like
swap23 == [swap] dip.
In other words, hold the top of stack aside while we swap the next 2 items.
in other words, swapd.
it appears that the definition of 'times' has also
changed in the course of manfred's work (the manual
reverses the stack order of the examples in several
of the papers.)
it would be good to have simple examples of all the
primitives (condlinrec gave me considerable trouble).
any word on the state of 'the joy of programming'?
judging from the papers, this is going to be an
indispensable book.
