KDE Tricks

The following is a collection of utilities I found useful for KDE.

kscreen-doctor

kscreen-doctor is the KDE utility for controling screen rotation. kscreen-doctor -o will give you a list of displays. kscreen-doctor output.[OUTPUT].rotation.[ROTATION] will let you change the display rotation. Values for rotation are left, right, normal, inverted

Virtual Keyboard

A virtual keyboard does not come pre-installed. The only choice at time of writing is Maliit. Only works on Waylan it seems. It's also a little flaky with non-qt applications, but it gets the job done well enough.

Limit Battery Charge

In power management, under advance power settings, you can limit how much you battery charges. I recommend setting this to 80% for a nice balance between battery charge and battery health.

Seriously though, don't charge you electronics to 100% it ruins the battery. Also, turn off fast charging. It also ruins your battery.
