A long time ago a Man met a Satyr in the forest and succeeded in making friends with him. Goodby, neighbor Cricket, he called. I'm off. Do not say 'I have found a purse,' said his companion. Say rather 'we have found a purse' and 'how lucky we are. Yes, said the Grasshoppers, who were very fond of a joke; it is the dew we drink! Now the Bat family had not openly joined either side. From this he took a very small portion for himself, such undesirable bits as the horns and hoofs of a mountain goat, and the end of an ox tail. To each one he showed an axe of gold, and each one eagerly claimed it to be the one he had lost. Do not on any account part with the estate that has belonged to our family for so many generations. No one could deny that the dispute had been definitely settled.

The same measures will not suit all circumstances.
